In preparation for the ASEAN competition Autism Network (AAN) Congress in 2018, LSCAA together with Yayasan Autisme Indonesia held Indonesia Autism Games (IAG) 2017 on the 20th – May 21st, 2017. There were 2 kinds of the sports competed for the event; swimming and running.

On the first day, the event was held at Cilandak Sport Center and swimming competition is the opening game for IAG 2017. Total participants who joined the events are about 97 kids from various ages, and they come from various regions in Indonesia, such as; Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, etc. There were two categories of swimming competition, the race was held the 50 meters and 100 meters.

Meanwhile, on the next day, 22 May 2017, the running competition was held at PPOP Ragunan. The categories for this competition are initiated from the age of 8-12 years old, 11-15 years old and 16 years old. The participants, their parents and coaches is also very excited about all the events that took place.

The event was opened by opening speech from Dr. Adriana MS as the head of the committee and Dr. Melly as the chief of Yayasan Autisme Indonesia. “I’m optimistic, due to this event, Indonesia can compete with other ASEAN countries” said Dr. Adriana MS.
