The LSPR FASHION SAGA GRAND FINAL was successfuly held on 24 May 2017 at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall, Campus B, The London School of Public Relations Jakarta. This year’s LSPR FASHION SAGA is their 10th year being held which made it more special than before. This year’s theme is FUTURASHION (The Future of Fashion) where the theme itself interprets the fashion world in the future with dynamic changes and innovations which is always developing everyday and this year’s runway was also dominated by monochrome colors. In this Grand Final Night, all the 10 finalists of SAGA 2017 successfully showed their best performance on the runaway after series of training during the quarantine period that fascinated both the judges and audiences.

The event started at 7 p.m and was opened by Ms. Renata Tirta, Dean of the Department of Performing Arts of LSPR Jakarta. On her speech she thanked all the people behind the success of SAGA 2017, and she wished that through this event the finalists can challenge themselves more in expressing fashion and to be prepared when entering the professional world of modeling in the future. The event then continued by the screening of Diary Saga 2017, a documentation that shows the activities of the finalists during the quarantine session and then continued by the collaboration between LSPR Dance and the 10 finalists of SAGA 2017 in order to open the fashion show runway.

The performance was opened by a fashion runway by the 10 finalists of SAGA 2017 who wore Aji Suropati’s collection whom successfully interpreted the spirit of the clothing collection that was marked by the applause by the audience. This year’s event was also enlivened by the members and alumni of LSPR Modeling and the previous alumni of SAGA 2016 where they represent various of clothes and accessories from the designers and sponsors of this event such as Lukman Abadi, Girls Outlet, GANUTA, WAKAI, KOMONO, AEDEN, CULTURA By Maulana, Artina, Paul Frank, APPAREL AFTER DARK , DIRRTY!, KEDS, YOUNG WOON, ERNESTO ABRAM, dan Just Popi. The event became more exciting with the performances and collaborations between each Student League’s club of LSPR and between the brands that sponsored this event, like the runway collaboration between Paul Frank X WAKAI and LSPR Band with LSPR Modeling by accompanying the runway with their performances.
In the FASHION SAGA GRAND FINAL 2017 there was also a fashion show of Fashion Stylist Collection of LSPR, where at the end of the runway, the host announced the 3 winners of the Fashion Stylist Competition where the 1st place was won by Siti Syavira, 2nd by Victor Dianata, and 3rd by Rahayu Azhanti Novianti.

Finally, the peak of this event was when they announced the winners of each category in SAGA 2017. Started with the announcement of the Favorite category that was won by Irfan Yakub, then continued with the Best Catwalk category won by Magdalena Rosari, Best Photo Category won by Wilsen, 1st runner up female won by Evlin Jayanti Bakara, and again Irfan Yakub successfuly brought home another trophy as the 2nd Runner Up Male, and last but not least, the last category SAGA Female that was won by Ghaisani Badzlina and SAGA Male category that was won by Hanif Musliman Prahmana. The event then closed with a final catwalk by Ghaisani Badzlina and Hanif Musliman Prahmana as the winner of LSPR FASHION SGA 2017, and a photo session with all the winners.
