13th June 2017, LSPR TV Studio is where the 7th LSPR- Northumbria University International Examination for LSPR Mass Communication Student Batch 18 for the subject TV, Film & Video Production 2.

Since seven years ago, every year Dr. Lee Barron fly to Indonesia only to screens the movie LSPR Students produced

It is the indeed the 7th time where Northumbria University external assessor Dr. Lee Barron visits LSPR for the screening of the top 10 Finalist for the Short Film Production for Batch 18 Mass Communication students. Screening took place at LSPR Tv Studio where 10 groups nervously waited for their turn of their Short Film screened by Dr. Lee Barron.

Dr. Lee was happy to see all movie that were produced by the finalists are very good

The event was opened by a welcome remarks from Ms. Candy Hernandez, M.Si as the internal assessor for the Annual International Examination with Northumbria University. Students from Batch 18 and Batch 19 also heard the speech from Dr. Lee, whom is always enthusiast to travel 1000 miles just to review LSPR student short film production, Dr. Lee said ” I always look forward to LSPR students production, since the first time I became the assessor I am always surprised with the creativity of the students here at LSPR. All top 10 finalist are all winners to me and it is always hard for me to choose the Top 3 Winners. I am always amazed how student can come up with the story line for their films, students has a great sense of unique touch in telling a story from a short brief on the start of the semester into full production and post production of the short film. I always look forward to next year’s short film production from LSPR students.”

Ms. Candy also mentioned that “every year we are very keen to choose the best short film for this collaboration with Northumbria University and as always I encourages every group who made it to the top ten finalist to be brave and try out to show their films through International Film Festival, I am assuring the top 3 winners for this year that we will make sure that it will be another entry to Manhattan Film Festival on December 2017. And I look forward to work together with Dr. Lee on another exciting year for LSPR Batch 19 Mass Communication students who will produce their short film this coming new semester.
