The PAC 18-1B class presented musical theater performances that brings the story of Charlie and his dream of winning the golden ticket in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory the musical, it was held last Thursday and Friday at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall of LSPR Jakarta. The Drama musical Charlie and the chocolate factory is an adaptation from the book of a Norwegian author, Roald Dahl. In addition, the audience is also given a chocolate bar that can be eaten while watching, to add a feel to the drama.

At  07:30 the seats were filled with an enthusiastic audience with the musical drama. The show begun with a video showing  the process of making the delicious chocolates that we have been consuming all the time. The atmosphere of the auditorium as well as the  role of the cast makes the audience able to participate and feel sympathy for the characters, for example at the time when Willy Wongka and Charlie boarded the elevator which they sang a song “pure imagination” that  made the audience’s heart showed sympathy for the characters.

Charlie and The Chocolate Factory showed for two days

At the end of the show the audience cheered and gave flowers to the main cast that appeared at the curtain call. Room atmosphere was changed to silence and sad when the final scene that shows Willy Wongka is no longer in control of the chocolate factory.
