ACTION

“You have to get better, to go bigger”, said Daniel Mananta, founder of Damn I Love Indonesia in the middle of ACTION talkshow.  ASEAN into Indonesia (ACTION) is an event conduct by students of marketing class 16-5C in commemorating of PR Festival 2015. ACTION was held on Monday, 8 June 2015 in Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performances Hall. Half an hour talkshow with Mr. Tunggul Siahaan as a moderator pick ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) as the main topic.

There are two other speakers in the talkshow. They are Charles Serang as CEO of PT. Nyonya Meneer and Al Busrya Basnur (Director of Public Diplomacy directorat general of information). Both of the speakers have different perception about AFTA. Charles Serang said “ AFTA is a threat to Indonesian.” On the other hand, Al Busrya said,” AFTA is an opportunity to Indonesian”.

The participants of ACTION was registering themselves on 9 a.m. The event start with Rey New Afi solo performances. The talkshow start with discussion  about AFTA by the speakers with lead of the moderator. There was a question and answer session after the discussion. Questions from the participants answered by the speakers. At the end of the talkshow, Mr. Tunggul Siahaan gave plague of appreciation to all of the speakers.

In the end of ACTION, there was winner announcement for “ Create your ACTION” t-shirt design competition. Daniel Mananta as the judge for the competition gave the price to the winner. There are three winner and one most favorite instagram photo. (Eki, Dhita)
