Jakarta – Successfully organizing a painting exhibition in charity activities last March, The London School of Public Relations (LSPR) through the London School Center for Autism Awareness (LSCAA) and Sunrise Art Gallery again held a similar activity titled “Heart for Autism” which took August 1 – 28, 2019 at Sunrise Art Gallery, Fairmont Jakarta. LSPR Collaborated with the Daya Pelita Kasih Foundation to exhibit art-valued paintings. Proceeds from the sale of paintings in this activity will be given to painters and donated to Rumah Autis which handles autistic children and children with special needs from underprivileged families.

A Group Charity Art Exhibition “Heart for Autism” was packaged as an exhibition for 33 paintings by the hand scratches of children with special needs from the Daya Pelita Kasih Foundation. Artwork painted on canvas has an artistic value in the form of expressions of the heart’s content as a way of communicating. Scratches and color compositions, that blend the painting, give meaning to an artistic value of creative hands. Alfonsus Dalay, Aurelie Sari Putri Wirananda, Banu Gunottama, Basmarrahman Daulat, Bima Ariasena Adisoma, Daya Olivia Korompis, Diego Luister Berel, Fero Adhi Mada Sardjono, Indhy Mutiarahma, Jane Gabriela, Kiemas Rizki Aguswira Ilyas Nurhadi, Mahadana Trayiko, Setiawan, Swede Van Till and Wilson Luhur are gifted students from the Daya Pelita Kasih Foundation, who also exhibit their work in this charity event.

The event was a series of actualizations from the Kick Off Project on Autism Awareness initiated by LSPR, the National Brain Center Hospital (PON Hospital) and CT Arsa Foundation, to develop the talents of children with autism. Anita Ratnasari Tanjung, MARS., Signed a joint commitment last Saturday (7/27) at Menara Bank Mega, Jl. Captain Tendean 12-14A Jakarta. The parties agreed to jointly increase social awareness for the provision of education, training, consultation, treatment, therapy and talent development, for people with autism, especially from underprivileged families. At the same time, the A Heart Charity Art Exhibition poster for “Heart for Autism” was signed by Prita Kemal Gani and Anita Ratnasari Tanjung, as a symbol of the inauguration of the event.

A Group Charity Art Exhibition “Heart for Autism” was held on August 1, 2019 at Sunrise Art Gallery, Fairmont Jakarta level 2, Jl. Asia Africa No. 8, Gelora Bung Karno – Central Jakarta. The first day, attended by VIP guests starting at 10am, and then will be open to the public, August 2-28, 2019 starting at 11pm until 5pm. Invited guests, art lovers and the general public can enjoy and have works of art that are admired. The exhibition of the works of 33 gifted artists from the Daya Pelita Kasih Foundation, sold at prices ranging from Rp. 6 million to Rp. 18 million.

LSCAA also believes that this charity activity will make a positive contribution. LSCAA is a form of LSPR concern in voicing the existence of autistic individuals in Indonesia with a variety of activities for 11 years continuously. LSCAA has a variety of training programs, seminars, art events, research, and various collaborations, such as collaboration with the Daya Pelita Kasih Foundation.

Fundraising in the A Group Charity Art Exhibition “Heart for Autism” is ongoing, because it was aims to help autistic children and children with special needs who are less fortunate. “Educating, caring, having children with special needs is not easy. Children with special needs need special education and attention from parents, people around them, the community, and also the Government. Many children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Indonesia do not get the therapy they need, because of the high cost of therapy and inadequate facilities”, said Prita Kemal Gani, Founder & Director of LSPR and LSCAA Initiator.
