Last year at the 33rd ASEAN Summit, autism advocate Erlinda Uy Koe from the Philippines received the inaugural ASEAN Prize of 2018. Ms. Koe is the Chair Emeritus of Autism Society Philippines (ASP) and ASEAN Autism Network (AAN) which is comprised of autism family support organisations from all ASEAN Member States.
