LSPR through London School Centre of Autism Awareness held a Movie Screening in the sequence of this month. With the theme “Autism Around the World”, the films selected for discussion were also the production of various countries; India, Italy, and Japan.
Held in Prof.Dr. Djajusman Auditorium Performance & Hall, films titled Berfi, Le Chiavi di Casa, Taare Zameen Par, and A Class to Remember is played on 13-15 April 2015 with a different movie every day. Movie Screening has invited Italian Institute of Culture Jakarta, Embassy of India, and Japan Foundation in Jakarta as the speakers, and was also attended by the students of LSPR.
The film is closely related to the world of Autism’s, review of how to interact with those who have special needs to communicate. Like the film on the first day, Berfi, tells the story of friendship between two people and with a deficiency for each other.
Through Movie Screening, LSCAA hopes to educate students LSPR in order to establish a good relationship with people with special needs, but can understand their limitations. (uzlifat, James Matulingas)
