The ECU and City & Guilds Awarding Night is an awarding night event held on November 25, 2017 at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall. This awards night is where the top 53 students scored above 90 for the subject of Strategic Issue Management and Social Media for Business. Achieved by 35 students for the SMB course and 18 SIM students, they are 47% of outstanding students from all students who follow the subject lesson. Batik clothes is one of the themes worn by students and the two companions who attend awards ceremonies such as relatives, family or parents.

The opening ceremony was opened by a speech from Dr. Rino F Boer by giving a surprise event for invited guests is the students give flowers to relatives or parents who have supported the students until finally they succeed on the night of the award with a very proud value. The great dedication and the much struggle of students to get this highest scores in both courses is enormous, in fact the courses of Strategic Issue Management and Social Media for Business are two international courses studied from Edit Cowan University and using full English lessons. The exam is done through 3 stages that must be passed by the students such as examples for the exam SIM are; stage 1 (Media Monitoring), stage 2 (Log Book), and stage 3 (Communication Plan).

The event was continued by giving the award plaque to the outstanding students, beginning with the 3 highest score in the subject of Strategic Issue Management achieved by (1) Quodvultdeus Okto Sri Dhanurwendo, (1) Djauhari Oratmangun, (2) Ana Christina Valdez Cordovez, (3) Natalia Lusnita. 3 highest score for subject Social Media for Business achieved by (1) Kannethly Garry, (2) Cornelia Alverina, (2) Ryan Haryanto, (2) Ravinoldy Boer, (3) Aldi Satrio Herlambang.
