On March 19th and 20th, LSPR Career and Employability Center held a Career Guidance Seminar and Workshop for Batch 18 students at Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall, LSPR – Jakarta.
This year, LSPR invited nine speakers to share their knowledge and experiences about the career industry. During the day one, Mrs Prita Kemal Gani, the founder and director of LSPR – Jakarta, Mrs Laskmi Susanto Tobing, human resources consultant, Mr Ren Tobing, MBA, co-founder and chief commercial officer Topotels Hotel and Resort Malaysia-Indonesia-Myanmar, Mrs. Renata Tirta Kurniawan, Dean of Campus B, Mrs Elke Alexandrina, program director of London School Academy took a role of speakers.
Meanwhile, the day two was held with the opening remarks by Dr Janette M. Pinariya, Dean of Campus C, Mr Wendy Syofyan, HRS Director of PT. Panasonic Gobel Indonesia, and Mrs Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR, the founder and director of LSPR – Jakarta, Mrs Yenita Ahyan, and Mr Taufan Teguh Akbari, Dean of Campus A.
The target of the event was to prepare Batch 18 students to work in this era of globalization which is full of competitiveness. The main message was to remind students about skills and ethics in the industry. During these seminars, the speakers shared their experience and explained how a company selected their employees, what kind of hard skills and soft skills are the most demandable, and how to build a good business etiquette in the professional life.
Along the events, there was a question and answer session (Q&A) in which Batch 18 students had a chance to ask the speakers regarding the professional life and career that they are going to choose.
