Sunday, January 24 2016, The 16th LSPR Theatre Festival, was 19-22A turns to perform at the Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium & Performance Hall and going all-out in front of the judges and audience. They are proudly present “Carrie”.

A classic supernatural horror film adapted from the novel by Stephen King, tells the story of Carrie White (Allyana Maghfira) a 16-year-old girl who lived in Chamberlain – Maine along with her mother Margaret White (Sarah Grace). The story begins when Carrie had just gotten her first period at school after physical education class. This events made Carrie become the ridicule of the school which was started by Chris Hargensen (Debra Latfie). Carrie later discovered that she could control nearby objects (telekinesis) after Margaret lock Carrie in the prayer room to ask forgiveness from God for her actions.

Chris, still angry after being punished by her physical education teacher, Ms. Gardner (Ghislane Athalia) because of her actions against Carrie, plotted revenge with her boyfriend Billy Nolan (Raynaldi Kusheriadi) by filing two buckets filled with pig blood. Carrie finally can’t stand anymore, she decides to kill everyone in the building using telekinesis force, causing a massive fire that destroys the school and traps almost everyone inside.
