In tribute towards one of the oldest form of art in history, which is drama, IDEAL (Indonesian Drama Educators Association) held their annual festival, “Dramakala Festival 6”, that took place at Campus B LSPR Jakarta on 23 February – 25 February 2017. The annual festival includes short drama at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall, and Rafael Jolongbayan Drama Room for the monologue.
It was held for three days with 22 participants for short drama and 25 participants for the monologue competition, the festival went on with bursts of emotion marked each of the performances. The Judges, which will decide who is the best among all the contestants are consists of two teams, with one team assigned for each competition. The judges for short drama competition were Harris Priadie Bah, Ipit Dimyati, and Gandung Bondowoso. The monologue competition was judged by Arswendo Atmowiloto, Eddy Haryono, and Sihar Ramses.
Aside from trophy, certificate, and cash prize for a total of Rp. 24.000.000, this year’s participants will also receive a PRITA Trophy, which will award the winners with fund prize in total of Rp. 16.500.000. The fund prize winners received was given to be used as a funding for the next performance of the winners in the future. After a series of performances for three days, the festival was ended with an Awarding Night to announce which is the best of the best out of all the participants.

a. Best Directing : Dapur Teater (Pontianak),
b. Best group Theatre : Teater Sahid.
c. Best Actor : Hakim from Teater Lingkungan
d. Best Actress : Sekar from Teater Ciliwung
For monologue category, Kartika Christiani become the winner with her story “Wanci.” Congratulations to all the winners (Arman/Anita/Citra/Desy/Nurul/Tarrasch)
