Jakarta – One of the most familiar actions since the COVID-19 outbreak, is the washing of hands with soap. This has become one of the main attention, given the pandemic era in Indonesia. The community has continuously reminded them to discipline themselves in maintaining hand hygiene. Today, October 15 is celebrated as World Handwashing Day, to further strengthen the importance of this activity during the pandemic.
LSPR Communication & Business Institute also realises the importance of maintaining hand hygiene during this pandemic. Of course, accompanied by the use of masks and keeping your distance. Since it was declared that Indonesia was entering the COVID-19 pandemic, LSPR has readily prepared facilities in the campus area to jointly break the chain of the spread of COVID-19. Facility for hand washing can be found at the campus entrance so that everyone can wash their hands first before entering the building.
Not only found in front of the campus area, but inside the toilets on each floor in the building has also been controlled internally. The maintenance crew always ensures that soap for washing hands is available, the washbasin is clean, and running water is always available. This facility is of course used by all staff, management, and the LSPR family in maintaining hand hygiene to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Various appeals about hand washing movements, steps and their benefits are also regularly shared through LSPR’s social media. “Let’s maintain personal hygiene by washing hands properly, before and after activities”, quoted the appeal via Instagram @lsprjakarta in commemoration of World Handwashing Day.
