Jakarta –  On July 9 2023, the Literate Your Mind program taught children to apply their public speaking skills in public. As was taught on the first day of the Literate Your Mind program on July 8 2023, where the material on Public Speaking and Social Media was given that day.

Starting with Book Hunting, namely, each group was asked to find their favorite book at Taman Bacaan Perigi. In this Book Hunting session, the books they found must have elements they like. Among them were: the title and author, what topics were discussed in the book, why they liked the book, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the book.

After finding a book they liked, they were asked to come forward to provide a review. This is intended so that children can practice how to review books and train them to have the courage to speak in public by retelling the books they are reviewing.

The next session was Creating Content, each group will create content on their personal Instagram account with the lessons learned from the previous day’s presenters, they need to create content that lasts 20 seconds – 2 minutes which was edited with the CapCut application. Each group was also accompanied by mentors who were tasked with providing direction to each group.

Each session will give a prize for a group that was skilled in reviewing books and dared to speak well in public and has high creativity in creating content.

The Literate Your Mind program on the second day taught children to apply their public speaking skills in public and taught them how to create good content so that they can attract the attention of the audience.
