Bali – LSPR Communication and Business Institute (LSPR) collaboration with Pupuan Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province, as one of the fostered villages Independent Campus Program in the field of Community Service. Pupuan Village has been designated as a Tourism Village since September 2021. Pupuan Tourism Village is known as one of the “Lungs of the Island of Bali” with its extraordinary natural potential.
Likewise, the archaeological heritage, the social life of the community and the growing culture, will give its own for everyone who visits Pupuan Tourism Village. Therefore, through the signing of this collaboration, LSPR Communication and Business Institute will provide support for Training, Counselling, Assistance and Empowerment of Pupuan Village in the field of Communication and Tourism
The event was opened by remarks from the Vice Rector I, LSPR Communication and Business Institute, Dr. Janette Pinariya, MM, who said that, “as one of the Institutes of Communication and Business we want to support Pupuan Tegallalang Village to be more advanced and develop, especially in the 4.0 era”. This cooperation has been officially agreed by both parties virtual by Rudi Sukandar, Ph.D., as Director of LSPR Research, Publication and Community Service Institute and I Wayan Sumatra as Head of Pupuan Village, “With this collaboration, we hope that we can develop Pupuan Village, especially in terms of human resources and also facilities as well as infrastructure to improve the tourism sector of Pupuan Village,” he said. In connection with this, the General Chair of the Nusantara Tourism Village, Mangku Kandia, appreciated the collaboration initiated by LSPR to support one of the newly established Tourism Villages in Bali and hoped that in the future it could develop Tourism Villages that also exist throughout the archipelago.
After ceremonial signing of the collaboration, LSPR Communication and Business Institute and Pupuan Village held the first coordination meeting regarding the tourism village development plan under the coordination of Head of Community Service LSPR Institute, Rani Chandra Oktaviani, M.Sc. the initial study related to the needs of partners, from Pupuan Village. “So LSPR Communication and Business Institute can assist in improving the quality of human resources, especially for promoting tourism through digital marketing and empowering the potential of Pupuan Village, Tegallalang, Gianyar, Bali,” he added.
Rudi Sukandar, Ph.D., closed the event with the hope that this collaboration can run productively in the future that will benefit both parties. “We can realize the Tri Dharma College program as the Ministry of Education and Culture’s vision for the Merdeka Campus program,” he concluded.
