Jakarta – Adjustments in academic and non-academic activities of LSPR Communication & Business Institute during the pandemic, rolling according to campus needs and government directions. LSPR has carried out various campus activities using online, virtual while still emphasizing the quality of each activity. Including  the upcoming implementation of the graduation ceremony which will still be held after a survey of 741 prospective graduates was conducted. Based on graduation circular letter ref No. 046-20 / LSPR / panpel / jmp / cb, the survey results stated that 56.4% chose Graduation to be held virtually.

The survey results underlie the implementation of this year’s graduation which is planned to be held on Thursday, November 26, 2020. For the implementation, it will be held virtually with a solemn event package so that the nuance of ‘graduation’ as student achievement after completing studies at LSPR will still be memorable. To smooth the event and provide various information about the graduation ceremony, General Rehearsal (GR) will also be held virtually on November 18, 2020.

The fee to attend the graduation is Rp. 750.000, payment is open until October 31, 2020. This fee will be allocated for making diplomas, transcripts, certificate companion diplomas, toga sets, yearbooks (yearbooks), one physical invitation, event books and LSPR merchandise. Some items will be packaged in a ‘Graduation Kit’ package which will be sent before 26 November 2020 to the address of the registered graduate.

Meanwhile, specifically for Diploma Documents, Transcripts and Yearbooks, graduates can get it in campus from November 30 to December 18, 2020. At the time of collection, graduates are expected to adhere to the schedule that will be arranged and informed later by the Dept. Thesis Team. When taking these documents, students must comply with the applicable health protocol (3M), and wear formal clothes according to the regulations on the LSPR campus.

Regarding the payment mechanism, prospective graduates can do it online (transfer). When making payments via transfer, prospective graduates are required to include a statement “Graduation Payment”. We will also work hard to follow up on suggestions and input from the survey results so that this year’s graduation can be a matter of pride and happiness for prospective graduates, parents, and all members of the LSPR civitas academica.

This institutional decision was made carefully by also considering the health and safety of graduates and their families according to the Circular of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Cultural Education No.1 of 2020 regarding the Prevention of the Spread of Coronavirus Disease in Higher Education. We hope that this decision can be a form of responsibility and contribution of the LSPR academic community to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 Virus.”
