Jakarta – LLDIKTI III gave the award to LSPR Communication and Business Institute for innovation and achievement that was done during the COVID-19 pandemic. This award was given to Muhamad Hidayat, LSPR Lecturer and also BNPB member, with the category of volunteer that has contributed during the pandemic last Wednesday (24/6).
As it is known, LSPR has been very active in aiding the medical personnel at the referral hospitals with PPE and nourishments. Some of those hospitals were RSPI Sulianti Saroso, RSUP Persahabatan, RS Daurat Wisma Atlet. Other than that, LSPR has also given out food to the people that have been affected near the LSPR campus area.
Mr. Hidayat who’s also a lecturer in LSPR, is also an active volunteer for the Task Force on the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling (Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan COVID-19) since 13 March 2020 when this task force was first formed by President Joko Widodo. “During this pandemic, I helped by spraying disinfectant for schools, places for worship, and other public facilitations. I also helped by distributing PPE to various areas in Indonesia, and also helped Junior Doctor Network Indonesia (JDNI) send help to Papua Province and West Papua. This was done in collaboration with the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU)”, he said.
Not only that, he also actively does socialisation about health protocol in Traditional Markets and places for worship such as mosques. He also collected donations for Pondok Ranggon Funeral Team (Tim Pemakaman Pondok Ranggon). Donations were also given to the people that have been affected by COVID-19 in Jakarta. Amidst his role as a volunteer, he also kept his role as a LSPR lecturer. “The learning activities and tutoring students are still being done. I am grateful that during this pandemic, all academic activities are done in an online format, so I can still do it from wherever I am”, said Mr. Hidayat.
