Jakarta  – The evidence of the COVID-19 pandemic did not recede the enthusiasm of the entire LSPR Communication & Business Institute academicians is the recent achievements by LSPR Choir. Winning two awards at once, became an immeasurable pride, especially for the LSPR Choir. Through the World Virtual Choir Festival 2020 organized by the Bandung Choral Society, LSPR won the Gold Medal – Champion Winner of Category (Pop & Jazz Category), and the Inspirational Award.

The competition, which was held online, took place on 27 – 31 July 2020. The LSPR Choir Team consisted of active LSPR Jakarta students from batch 20 to 23. With approximately 2 months of preparation, LSPR Choir for the first time competed in the virtual choir competition. This team successfully defended the Gold Medal achievement that had been previously achieved. LSPR Choir entered the competition in the Pop and Jazz category, with the song “Can’t Stop the Feeling”, composed by Mac Huff, Words and Music by Justin Timberlake, Max Martin and Shellback. Artistic Director, Conductor, Choireography, Ms. Sonia Nadya Simanjuntak, Music Accompaniment, Mr. Arya Brahmantya Boga. And Ms. Mayke Angelica’s in Audio Mixing, Videography and Editor.

But the collaboration of coordinators, musicians and teams has come together to be the best. Pandemics can lock us down, but they can’t reduce our creativity, even with different platforms.
