[HEADLINE] THE 29th LSPR INSTITUTE DIES NATALIS CELEBRATED VIRTUALLY FOR 7 DAYS

Jakarta, 1 July 2021 – Making the most of digital platform, LSPR Institute has successfully held a series of events as a form of the LSPR 29th Anniversary celebration with the signature tagline, “Happy First of July LSPR”. The series of LSPR 29th Anniversary this year was held for 7 days, starting from 1 July 2021, right on the day of the anniversary, until 7 July 2021. The celebration involved the entire academic community and will be held online through a variety of platforms such as social media, youtube, and talk-shows via Zoom. The series of LSPR 29th Anniversary were LSPR TV Launching, LSPR Costume Celebration, Digital Tourism Contest, Digital Cooking Contest with House Kari Ala Jepang, The Launching of TEDx LSPR, and LSPR x Blibli.com Launching.

The series of LSPR 29th Anniversary presented a diverse number of activities. For instance the LSPR TV Launch which was held on 1 July 2021, presented Mr. Andreas Humala, Ms. Rachel Tama and Ms. Emilya Setyaningtyas through her casual conversation with LSPR Radio. With this LSPR TV, both LSPR academics and the public can get information about LSPR not only in terms of academics, but also other aspects of LSPR. It is also possible that the LSPR TV platform is also open to the public who would like to collaborate or become content creators in the LSPR TV segment.

Reflecting from the previous years celebrations, with high interest, LSPR has succeeded in holding the LSPR Costume Celebration, so that it became a space for the LSPR family to be creative and expressive. This year the LSPR Institute again held the LSPR Costume Celebration, only participants will be creative from each #DiRumahAja. This excitement can be found in the hashtag on Instagram which reads #LSPRCostumeCelebration2021 and started on 1 to 6 July and the participants who are selected as Best Costume will be announced on 7 July 2021.

Not only that, the LSPR Institute’s Business Faculty, Tourism Study Program, also collaborated  with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (KEMENPAREKRAF) in the implementation of the Digital Tourism Competition. LSPR enliven the 29th Anniversary, the implementation of the kick-off of this competition was held on 2 July 2021 virtually through Zoom and can be watched also through Live Youtube LSPR. This competition was a Digital Photo/Video/Illustration competition with the theme of Indonesian tourism and aimed to support the rise of the tourism sector in this new era, after being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The competition period ran from 2 July to 6 August and was open to the public.

Various competitions were presented in the celebration of LSPR’s 29th anniversary. LSPR Institute also collaborated with House Kari Ala Jepang through the Digital Cooking Contest with House Kari Ala Jepang. Took place for 6 days, 1 – 6 July, all participants can upload photos of their cooking creations on Instagram and can be found via the hashtag #LSPRxHouseKariAlaJepang. The selected winner will be announced on 7 July 2021 and is the result of an assessment based on menu creations as outlined in the caption, as well as a good composition of Food Photography.

Another surprise, included in this series anniversary, on 5 July 2021, LSPR also officially announced the official TEDx LSPR (independently organized TED event) which will be held on July 17, 2021. All information regarding this activity can be accessed through tedx.lspr.edu. Presenting inspirational speakers, such as the Founder and CEO of the LSPR Institute, Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani MBA, MCIPR, APR, Margianta Surahman Juhanda Dianta (Young Leader Consultant for UNICEF HQ) and Andhini Miranda.

It did not end there, the collaboration between LSPR and Blibli.com was also stated in the LSPR x Blibli Launching on 6 July 2021 which was included in the LSPR 29th Anniversary series. By that, the LSPR Store has officially arrived at Blibli.com and is intended for LSPR families who would like to complete their LSPR Merchandise collection.

Thus, even through the digital platform, LSPR 29th Anniversary is no less merry with previous years. In addition to the series of activities above, the entire LSPR family was also facilitated with tools such as Twibbon which was used to be uploaded with their photos on Instagram, Virtual Background for lecturers and students during class, and also various of Instagram GIFs that can be found with the keyword “LSPR”.

LSPR 29th Anniversary was also equipped with the accomplishments of LSPR Institute as an award recipient of Dana Hibah Pemerintah Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka 2021 from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Directorate General of Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. LSPR also made into the ranking Top Global 100 & 50 WURI Rankings; Rank 44th Entrepreneurial Spirit, 45th Student Mobility & Openness, 48th Crisis Management. In addition, LSPR Institute was also the selected campus to participate in the 2021 Indonesian Student Micro Credential (KMMI) program from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia.
