The Importance of Event Management, Discussed in the LSPR Spring Festival 2020

Jakarta – LSPR’s academic and non academic online activities during the Covid-19 pandemic continues to flourish and run smoothly. One of it’s activities is the LSPR Spring Festival 2020. A series of various interesting topics have been discussed in this activity broadcasted live on @JOINLSPR Instagram account.

Mr. Okky Alparessy presented the topic of Public Speaking, then Mr. Calvin Gunawan about Creativepreneur. Even students also took part in sharing lectures at LSPR with Alvin Lapian and Zulfa Maharani.

And then it’s Mr. Mikhael Y. Cobis turn who also shared a topic of Business Management Events in the LSPR Spring Festival 2020 series. He stated that an event is an agenda. This is interpreted as a certain activity or a particular festival that shows, performs and celebrates. The event was held to commemorate something at a certain time with the aim of communicating messages to visitors or the audience.

“To produce effective and efficient activities, knowledge of Event Management is needed. Because it is a process of planning, organising, coordinating, analysing, marketing, producing and evaluating an event, “said Mr. Mikhael on live Instagram (27/4). He also emphasised that managing this activity is one of the different ways to promote a product, service, or idea.
