Jakarta – Since the start of the even semester 2019/2020 in March, LSPR has held online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The lecturers conducted teaching from home, and students were learning from home. But starting Monday (06/15/2020), especially for LSPR Permanent Lecturers who have structural positions have started teaching in both campuses, Jakarta and Bekasi, with strict health protocols. It aims to revive the academic atmosphere, and treat the students who are longing for their classrooms that have not been visited for  a long time.

“With direction from the CEO and Rector, permanent lecturers and employees are allowed to carry out work activities on campus. Lecturer’s online teaching from campus using the facilities provided to liven up the academic atmosphere. In entering the new normal, we have to be more disciplined to maintain health and personal hygiene and also the environment“, said Vice Rector I of LSPR Communication & Business Institute, Dr. Janette M. Pinariya.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the LSPR COVID-19 Task Group, Dr. Chrisdina, appealed that carrying out activities on campus means applying the new normal. “Be aware that health does not only affect yourself, but also others. There is no harm in shifting a little the way we interact, being distant and technology based. Togetherness in the office varies, but currently following the new normal is the most ideal“, she added.

Regarding online teaching activities on campus, Founder & CEO of LSPR Communication & Business Institute, Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR, also reminded all LSPR residents to wear masks and always wash their hands. “For our safety and health, if someone is sick, she/he should be at home and with permission to not come to work. Diligent to exercise, take vitamins and positive thinking makes us all healthy,” she wrote in a circular letter to all staff, management and full time lecturers in LSPR.
