International Internship Programme at The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia at Davao City, Philippines
In December 2019, we did an international internship programme at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia at Davao City, Philippines. We were placed at the Information, Socio-Cultural Affairs during our internship. Daily task in the Information, Socio-Cultural Affairs of the Indonesian Consulate General in Davao City, Philippines is to assist the Head of Representative, in efforts to improve relations, cooperation and promotion of social culture between both countries, to carry out the development of Indonesian society in the country related concerned, implement and enhance information cooperation with the mass media in the relevant country, all of the duties of Information, Socio-Cultural are to increase and improve the bilateral relations between the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of Philippines.
There are many activities or task we did during our internship, such as making a weekly article about social and cultural issue between Indonesia and Philippines, also arrange some event at the Information, Socio-Cultural Affairs, joined and visited some events or places within the Consulate General’s agenda, like Closing Expo Event at Wisma KJRI, visited local community in General Santos with all of the KJRI’s staffs, and many more.
