At the end of 2023, the LSPR Centre for Innovation & Business was awarded the Kedaireka MSME Grant. This grant supported a series of initiatives aimed at raising awareness of Bekasi Batik through the Higher Education Partnership Program titled Increasing Digital Awareness of Bekasi Batik While Promoting Local Wisdom.
The program involved five lecturers and three education staff and partnered with two batik cooperatives: the Kombas Cooperative from Bekasi City and Sebatik Indonesia from Bekasi Regency. A variety of activities were organized under this program, including:

These activities provided significant benefits to both LSPR and its partners, the two batik cooperatives. Through this program, awareness of Bekasi Batik, especially in the digital realm, has been significantly enhanced, fostering greater recognition of local culture and craftsmanship.
