On Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Buddha Metta Arama Temple, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Keluarga Mahasiswa Buddhis (KMB) LSPR Jakarta held their Vesakh 2563 B.E. celebration. The program was opened with  a Buddhist song by Maya Mauren.

“Puja” Procession

The event continued with remarks by Claudia Suryana as Chief Executive, Meilisa Permata Sari as Chairperson of KMB Pramudita, and Khen as representative of the LSPR Student League.

Dhammatalk Session

The procession took place in a calm and pleasant manner. The event continued with Dhammatalk by two speakers, Garvin S. Psi., M. Psi. and Bhikku Anando Aggadipo.

Meditation Time

The Dhammatalk was held pleasantly because the exposition of the Dhamma was packed with lots of jokes and daily stories. Dhammatalk closed with a question-and-answer (Q&A) session which was greeted enthusiastically by the people who came to the event.(Vinnie)
