LSPR – Jakarta Postgraduate Programme (PGP) staff held its gathering in the midst of a cloudy weather last Sunday, February 12th, 2017 for an exciting one full day trip to Lembang, West Java. There were 28 participants joining the trip, including some family members of the staff.
The group departed from LSPR – Jakarta Campus B, Sudirman Park, at 6:30 AM by a tour bus and arrived at the first destination, The Lodge Maribaya, Lembang, at 11 AM. The breath-taking scenery made the group enthusiastically captured the moment by searching for some fabulous pictures-taking spots and taking pictures endlessly.
After that, the group headed to Saung Cikidang Restaurant for having lunch. The restaurant was very convenient, serving amazingly delicious Sundanese food, and not to forget about the decent facilities they have. The group continued the trip to Farmhouse Lembang. The first activity we did was taking a group picture with European costumes on. They also visited the sheep and iguana farms and happily played around with the animals. Fresh milk and homemade sausage were also things the group enjoyed so much after the exciting activities in Farmhouse Lembang.
The last destination was Paskal (Pasir Kaliki) Food Market, Bandung. The specialty about this place is there are 1001 food stalls in this venue. Not only Sundanese food, but also Western and other Indonesian food. The group had a dinner there while enjoying the great night view. At 9 PM, the group headed back to Jakarta.
Mrs. Tetty Tri Ratna (Office Manager of LSPR – Jakarta PGP) stated, “This trip was held to strengthen the bonds between the staff of LSPR – Jakarta PGP, build the togetherness, and also to refresh our minds before facing a new semester on March 2017. We will do this activity annually and we hope more people will join next year. “
