LSPR SAGA 2019: The Realms

LSPR Modelling returned with their annual event, The 12th LSPR Fashion SAGA Grand Final on Thursday, June 20, 2019. This year’s runway showdown with the theme The Realms: Elements of The World, was held at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium Performance Hall, LSPR Jakarta. LSPR Fashion SAGA is a modelling competition which has been held by LSPR Modelling since 2007. This event is intended to be an opportunity for LSPR Students to pursue their modelling dreams, as well as a platform to build experience in the fashion industry.Categories ranging from models, fashion stylists, to make up artists are open for commission.

 

This year, all finalists and seniors of LSPR Fashion SAGA succeeded in showcasing the bedazzling wardrobes of the 20 partnering designers and brands. These included ESMOD Jakarta, Christi Erning, Ghassani Sabrina, Melati Vega, AwS, Rest in Pissed, Brenda Tanesha Wibowo, By Sherlita, Dirrty, and more. Additionally, LSPR Lecturers also joined the runway, wearing Badui’s Project with its beautiful batik wear collection. With its theme, LSPR Fashion SAGA used the elements of the world including fire, water, land, and wind for its wardrobe’s color scheme.

 

The judges of this year’s competition were Reva Marchellin, Prinka Cassy, Jordan Haag, Mr. Taufan Teguh Akbari, M.Si, and Ika Brama Satiyanagara. Also in attendance was the Founder and Director of LSPR, Mrs. Prita Kemal Ghani, MBA, MCIPR, APR. The night was enlivened by performances by LSPR Dance, and a fashion show of LSPR Modelling members’ final projects. It then continued with the awarding for the production team of LSPR Fashion SAGA 2019, as an appreciation of dedication in holding this event.
