Model United Nations 2015

A simulation of the Model United Nations (MUN) 2015 session was held by Communication Forums Student of International Relations (IR) throughout Indonesia (FKMHII Korwil II) and Youth Diplomacy Community (YDC) as the committee. This event was held from 25-27 September 2015 located at LSPR campus B and C as the host of MUN for this year.

MUN 2015 was attended by students from International Relations (IR) from various universities in Indonesia which aims for the students to observe and understand the topics that have been discussed in the UN simulation from viewpoints and different situations. Topics discussed was about “Expressing  Freedom of Expression Under Islamophobia in Europe” The event itself was divided into two chamber in the implementation, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and Social Cultural and Humanitarian Committee (SOCHUM).

As a final event last September 27^th for MUN 2015, YDC held a workshop and awarding night at Prof Dr. Djajusman Auditorium & Performance Hall LSPR Jakarta with 2 experts, there are H.E Ramli Saud, SH. LL. M. (Minister Ambassador for Ethiopia) and Arief Bakrie, S.Sos (Head of HRD and Social Media Manager of Lite FM Radio).

The experts talked about the importance of communication in diplomacy and how to develop public speaking to themself. In this event, LSPR Band and Choir also entertained this event as a closing event of MUN 2015. (Vyrana, Citra Nandini, Aldo Giovani)
