Mr & Mrs LSPR was back with the theme Divining Indonesia: Paradise of Archipelago on July 22th at Amani Palladium Theatre, LSPR-Transpark Juanda Bekasi. The event was the final showdown for all 20 finalists in competing to become the winner of Mr & Mrs LSPR Jakarta 2019.

This commemoration night is in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism Indonesia. The event was attended by Mr. Feisal Hamka. Mr. Taufan Teguh Akbari, Ms. Karina Syahnna, and Mr. Taufik Effendi, who also served as judges for this event. Stages were delightfully decorated in Indonesia’s nature settings with palm trees and traditional background song.

Performance by Mr&Ms LSPR 2019

It began with an introductory fashion show with traditional clothings, each Mr & Mrs finalist partners performed in their preferred unique way. Mr & Mrs LSPR is an annual event held to find the perfect campus ambassadors under LSPR Student League and Phuket III LSPR. Winners will be awarded with prizes ranging from cash prizes, sponsor gifts, to scholarship.

Mr&Ms LSPR 2019

During the months of quarantine and training sessions, members of Mr & Mrs LSPR have been running multiple campaigns, and events. These includes environmental campaigns, social media literacy and autism awareness. Training session was arranged and guided with the help of Mr & Mrs LSPR past winners ranging from membership of year 2017 to 2018.

After the video profile presentation and advertisements from partners, finalists were prepped for the Question and Answer session. Topics ranges from enhancement of education system, LSPR welfare, social issues, and environmental issues.

When asked about handling radicalism within juveniles, or so-called youngsters, Vania Adellia answered, “privileged with the title Ms. LSPR, I can use the social media to promote tolerance”. She added that we need to encourage less apathy, and more to compassion.”

After the Q & A sessions, all finalists performed another contemporary drama themed social media awareness. The night finally came to its end, announcement of the Mr & Mrs winners were given by the MC. Here are the following names and categories:
