Bekasi – The LSPR Communication & Business Institute’s 24th LSPR Theater Festival and The 13th LSPR PAC Festival has finished. To appreciate the hard work and efforts of the students who have performed their theatre productions, LSPR held a Performing Arts Communication Awarding “Moulin Rouge” event on Saturday, 14 February 2020 at The Amani Palladium Theater LSPR Trans Park Juanda Bekasi.

The program opened with remarks by Mrs. Janette M. Pinariya as the Vice Chancellor I of LSPR, and continued with a singing performance by Sandra, one of the batch 23 students. This was followed with speeches by the three judges namely Mr. Jose Rizal Manua, Mr. Sobar Budiman, and Mr. Sony Wibisono. At the same time, awards were given to all 9 original script writers. Judges, lecturers and teaching assistants also received awards. 

The award for the Most Liked Poster category was won by Incoherent

The award for the Most Liked Poster category was won by Incoherent with 14,100 likers, 34 comments, 467 shares and 19 saved. The award for the Best Costume & Make-up was presented by Mr. Radel Lopez, and won by Lutung Kasarung Theatre. Winners received trophies, cash, vouchers and gifts from sponsors.

Best Supporting Male & Best Supporting Female Cast category

Following the announcement of the Best Artistic category won by Incoherent, a short theater performance was presented by PAC22 – 1TP. The announcement of the category 2 award was by Ms. Merry and Ms. Chintia Callia, for the award of Best Supporting Male & Best Supporting Female Cast category which was won by Juan David as a puppeteer in the performance of Lutung Kasarung, and Vallentina Michelle as Amei in the performance of Breathe The Beat.

A short theatrical and music concert performance, from PAC22-2TP

A short theatrical performance, from PAC22-2TP, was followed by the reading of the award package 3 by Ms. Olivia Hutagaol which was the announcement of the Best Lead Male Cast and Best Lead Female Cast member awards won by Brilian Ibrahim as Daniel in the performance Weight, and Viera Chas as Violet in Wicked Heirs.

Best Production category was won by the production Weight

The Best Director award was won by the production Weight and was followed by a short theatre performance from PAC21-1B. Mrs. Janette and Mr. Wempi announced the winner of the Best Production category; the 2nd Runner Up Best Production was won by Memento Mori production, and the 1st Runner Up Best Production was won by Breathe The Beat, and most importantly the Best Production category h was won by the production Weight. The event closed with a band performance from students of LSPR Batch 23.
