The Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) held a conference on 14 to 15 November 2016 at the Four Point by Sheraton Hotel, Darling Harbour, Sydney. On this occasion, Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani MBA, MCIPR, APR (Founder & Director of LSPR – Jakarta and ASEAN President Public Relations Network) has the opportunity to be one of the speakers with the theme “Public Relations and Entrepreneurship”.
Ms Prita, focusing on the principle of an entrepreneur to develop the ability of the profession of public relations. She said to become an entrepreneur needs to be personally humble, have the best personal branding with a value conclusion from others, branding needs to maintain good, need to have a broad network and have a partner.
In this conference, PRIA launched a Professional Framework for PR and communication professionals. The Professional Framework is the foundation document for the entire Public Relations and communications in Australia to align career development, identifying, addressing the gap as well as the evaluation step to meet the standards of competence and capability.
Ms. Jenny Muir as PRIA National President, said that PRIA is committed to developing the success of the PR profession in the future, and as a facilitator of education and professional development training PR. Hope PRIA, through the framework defined will be a guide in the development of global standards to advance the profession and the public perception.
