On Wednesday, January 20, 2016, it’s the turn of Class 19-21A to perform their theatre entitled “She Wrote, Died, and Wrote Some More”. The theatre was the adaptation from the masterpiece of Steven Stack. It tells a story about the writer Alina Deveraux (Anastasia Teresa Stefany) who wrote a non fictional life story. But to make the book famous, her agent Minnie Matthews (Anisa Hanifa) said that Aline must be dead. There is someone wants to trick Alina into being dead at night when she was going to launch her new book. But Alina already knows so she doesn’t get tricked. But Alina agrees that is she is dead her book will be famous.
So she makes an unplanned strategy with her maid, Marian (Febriana). She pretends that she is dead, her maid becomes a doctor and others consider that she is dead. All of that becomes mystery and makes everyone suspect each other. When she pretends to be dead, she found out a lot of unexpected shocking facts, starting from the real murder plans, the betrayal from her trusted person, her sister, Vivian (Clara Frameta Tauriksa) real feelings, someone wants to steal her book and unexpectedly visit by the detective to figure who the real murder is. In the middle of story, there was a strange love story between Vivian’s boyfriend, Barnabas (Rizky Armansyah) and Marian.
In the duration of one hour, the theatre production was successful in making the audience satisfied with the theatre. Had a funny story, made the audience laughed loud from the beginning until the end of the theatre. The theatre has the Victorian touch which blends with modern touch makes the theatre feels classic and unique. And the same tone of sounds, made the audiences really enjoyed the theatre. Even though its just one setting of place, the theatre consistently makes the audiences well entertained.
