On August 1, 2018, a musical theatre titled “Alexa a Pop Musical” was presented by class 21-19a during “The 21st LSPR Theatre Festival” at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall. Main supervisors are Harris Priadie Bah and Fadli Hafizan.
Alexa at the Canteen of Highbury School
This theatre was opened by the main heroine named Alexa at the canteen of Highbury School. All actors and actresses played the role with music and dancing accompanying. This production was played right after the “Beauty and a Lonely Beast” performance (July 30, 2018).
Alexa singing because of her sadness
The theater presented a story about a matchmaker, who knows what is best for the life of everyone except her own. Alexa is a student at Highbury School, and she has a goal to find the best boyfriend for Harriet. But, if Alexa fails, Harriet will be very disappointed.
Musical theatre of Alexa
Alexandra Falenisa played the role of Alexa and Anggun Dewi played a role of Harriet. The ambiance of the audience was quite excited by the musical theatre of Alexa. Some audiences came on time when the theatre was playing. The parents came to support the students to run this theater as well. The performance was filled with music, dancing, etc. The plot of the story contained humor scenes as well as drama. (Putik/Feisy)
