The “Amdram is Murder” is the first theater performance presented by 21 – 6A class for the series of events as “The 20th LSPR Theatre Festival”. The theater was held on July 24, 2018, at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall. These theater shows were organized by Mr. Khiva Rayanka, S.Si with an assistance of Ms. Greta Ariati Mulyosantoso, S.Ikom.
The “Amdram is Murder” is a story adapted from Karen Ince’s work that has a uniqueness of the life of the theater inside a theater. The story is quite logically challenging because main heroes such as “MAD”, Fiona, Jenny, Derek, Cathy, and Shelagh have been working very hard to be in the theater. Derek is a handsome guy who has hidden relationships with one of the members; Cathy is Director who suffers from some difficulties, and Jenny has the nature of rational thinking; Shelagh has taciturnity and painting hobbies; Fiona is just a person who enjoys her life.
“Initially I thought it was a big risk, especially in the design of its production. However, I am confident and believe in our intention then it would all go smoothly though not perfect. Because in this world nothing is perfect,” says Mr. Khiva Rayanka. (Anita/Regina)
