On July 26, 2018, Class 21-17A presented a theater performance titled as “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress” by Alan Ball, at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall.
The story tells about five bridesmaids who are hiding together in an upstairs bedroom with the hope to escape and avoid the wedding ceremony. The main reason for it is that no one loves the bride.
Main heroines are Meredith, who is the rebellious younger sister of the bride; Frances is a very religious and sweet cousin; Mindy is a blunt and also a lesbian; Georgeanne and also desperate Trisha. In this small room, 5 different women who love talking, laughing, arguing, crying, slowly become friends. (Anita/Citra)
