For three days, LSPR serve as a place of training for Breast Cancer Peer Support Volunteers. The event was organized by the Breast Cancer Foundation of Indonesia (YKPI) and TUV Rheinland Indonesia. It was held from 12-14 August 2016, this training was opened at LSPR Campus B, Drama Room and the training was conducted in Room 25 and 26 Campus B.

The event opened with a welcome remarks from the Chairman of YKPI, Mrs. Linda Agum Gumelar and followed by the initial test to see how far the participant’s knowledge.

The course is divided into 4 modules, General Knowledge of Breast Cancer by Dr. Bob Adinata, SpB (K) Onk, Emotional Impact of Breast Cancer and Cultural Sensitivity by Ms. Cindy Utami, M. Psi, Building Relationship & Communication Skills by Ms. Rini Sanyoto, MBA, and Counselling Technique by Ms. Nelly Hursepuny, S.Psi.
The participants first test to determined their knowledge about Breast Cancer and how to care the patients.
On the third day, BSN Medical Representative convey some of the materials and also conducted the last test to determine their abilities after the training.(Sabrina)
