On the 22nd July 2016, class 19-6A held their theatre performance at Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall. The theatre titled “Turn Back Time”, was part of LSPR Theatre Festival, an annual event where each classes of first year students showcased their theatre skills as part of the LSPR curriculum.
The theatre is another representation of the famous old tale “Cinderella”, but set in a year after the classic Cinderella event. Cinderella (Ana Marliana) live with her stepmother (Dinda Rachma) and stepsisters; Drizella (Yanny Apriany), and Anastasia (Meiske Febiola Hosana). It’s already been a year since Cinderella wed the Prince (Rico Imam Pratama). Both of them went to the forest to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Her stepsisters were not happy with how things are. Both of them feel that they should be the one who went to the forest with the prince, not Cinderella.
Driven by envy, Anastasia manages to follow the pair into the forest, where the anniversary party was being held. Anastasia then learned that it was no mere fate that Cinderella and Prince are to be married, it was also due to the magic bestowed upon Cinderella by Fairy Godmother (Cantika Prabarini Sekar H.). Anastasia then somehow manages to get her hands on the magic wand, and brought it back to her family. Then, her mother swung the wand, and reverse the flow of time where Cinderella and Prince are yet to be wed. The family was planning to prevent the wedding for ever happening, thus giving the chance to the sisters to ascend to the throne.
The performance was led by Vanessa Christabelle as the Production Manager, accompanied by Angelie Pieter as the director, coupled by her assistant Della Ayu Savira Maychika as the Assistant Director. Dewanto Lesmana was in charge of Administration, and Tiara Pratiwi was given the responsibility to wrote the script. The production was supervised and advised by Mr Khiva Rayanka Iskak S.Si as the lecturer of the class, accompanied by his assistant Ms Karina Septiani S.I.Kom. (Tarrasch)
