Jakarta – On June 16, 2020 ASEAN PR Network held its first live webinar through Google meet. This live webinar is part of APRN’s webinar series called  APRN #PRCORONAVIRUS Webithon Series. This time the live webinar carried the theme “The Profound Impact of Covid-19 to Public Relations and Activism” hosted by President of ASEAN PR Network and also the Founder & CEO of LSPR Communication and Business Institute, Mrs.Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR. Open to the public, this webinar invites Mr. Hemant Gaule – Dean School of Communications & Reputation, India, Mr. Ling Wei Ming – Head of Content Development Voodoo Communications, Singapore and Ms.Ruby Wan – President of Hong Kong Public Relations Professionals’ Association.

During the webinar the speakers shared their experience on how the covid-19 impact their country especially to their organization/company and how they handle it. They shared some insight such as how to optimize the use of digital platforms to still make your activism effective despite the pandemic outbreak. Last but not least they also gave some tips on how to face the new normal. Mrs.Prita mentioned in her final conclusion statement that, ” The global response now is to bounce back and invest in the new normal we are facing and I believe we are all thriving our very best as we look beyond fear towards trust that we can all recover from the impacts of Covid-19″.

APRN #PRCORONAVIRUS Webithon series will show the significant role of public relations in dealing with the current situation we are all facing, by acting professionally, timely communicating with stakeholders, giving advice to management to cope with various business and community situations.
