Mr. Mikhael Yulius Cobis as the Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Lecturers of Introductions to Performing Arts Communication

Since the beginning, this event has always attracted the attention of audiences, both internal and external to the LSPR. It is an honor for LSPR considering that until 2020, LSPR has succeeded in producing more than 250 theater titles. Even in 2008 when it held The 4th LSPR Theater Festival, LSPR broke the record for the Longest Theater Production and received an award from the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI). “The purpose of this course is for students to gain experience in work, experience in creating work concepts, experience with aesthetics and experience to experience the function of art education for life and working in teams”, said Mr. Mikhael Yulius Cobis. He explained that through theater production, students not only learn to appear confidently in front of the public, but also gain experience in dealing with many characters and roles that reflect or will be applied in real life. “Because actually everyone is an actor in the drama of their respective lives. To become a successful actor in life, one must have communication skills, so that they can convey messages in the form of words or gestures, “explained Michael.
