Joang Museum 45, built in 1938, at first, Joang Museum 45 was a hotel managed by the Netherlander Family who lived in Batavia. This museum is still maintained even until now. Some of the hotel rooms at the north side were converted as the library and children’s play room. The webinar continued by Mr. Afif Mustapha, about the clothing brand “CTRL+N” (Control New). Control New is a local clothing brand that started with the fabric waste problem in Indonesia. The goods ranging from bags, clothes, pants, to hats, are the result of recycled fabric waste. Even though it is made from a collection of cloth waste, Control New still provides cool, interesting, and innovative results. Last but not least, Dr. Vivid F. Argarini talks about the challenges that the young generation is facing. Even though we live in the innovative era, we should remember and increase the awareness of the struggles of Indonesia’s heroes to achieve independence for Indonesia. As the younger generation, we should use social media to improve our skills, or use social media as a platform to share information.
The LSPR Managing Events Festival 2022 carries the big theme “Momentum in your museum”, as a statement of the attitude of Managing Events students to take part in providing new energy and enthusiasm in early 2022 to revive the organisation of an event and promote museums in the midst of a pandemic. which brings challenges to the creative industry, culture, and museums as a window of history and cultural richness.
