Jakarta – LSPR Communication & Business Institute collaborated with KoinGO and KoinWorks in holding a webinar titled “Financial Planning 101” on Friday, 16 October 2020 at 10.00 West Indonesia Time. The main speaker for this webinar was Debby Devina, Head of Financial Consultant, from KoinWorks and Kartini Dwi Sartika, S.Ip., M.Ikom., Deputy Head of Internal Relations, Communication Reputation Department, LSPR Communication & Business Institute as the moderator.

This webinar focuses on providing knowledge to webinar participants about how good financial management is for more advanced welfare. Kartini started the webinar by introducing the main speaker’s information to the participants and followed by Debby herself who made an introduction of KoinWorks. KoinWorks is a Peer to Peer Fintech Lending that connects Lenders and Borrowers in an online platform to meet each other’s financial needs that are regulated and supervised by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

Debby continued with the presentation of problems that generally arise during this pandemic. For example, when someone who has a large income with a large expenditure figure gets a cut in the income or even termination of employment. This causes them confusion and difficulty in fulfilling their large needs but their income is reduced.

Therefore, Debby gave directions to the participants in 4 points. First, back to the beginning, make sure personal financial arrangements that include emergency funds, protection, and investment have been fulfilled. Second, keep looking for sources of information, especially through gadgets that support activities during the PSBB as it is today. Next, form an investor mentality rather than a consumption mentality. The final point, being aware of the risks as well as a good job and a large income is no guarantee that your boat of life will always sail smooth.
