Jakarta – Friday, April 09, 2021: ASEAN PR Network (APRN) in collaborations with Global Alliance for PR and Communications Management (GA) has successfully organized the Global Alliance Education & Training Month (GAETM). This year, Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR as the Chair of Asia Pacific for Global Alliance has been appointed to lead the GA Education and Training Month Campaign. The 1st Live Webinar of GAETM was talking on the topic “Where Is Hospitality Heading in 2021: How Does Post Pandemic Reshaped the Tourism Industry?”.
The webinar was opened by Ms. Nadine Samala as the MC for the session and followed by the opening speech from Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR as the President of APRN. The webinar had 3 speakers with Ms. Jati Paras Ayu as the moderator. First speaker is Mr. Reza Amirul Januarshah as the Corporate Communication Director of Traveloka. He was presenting on the topic of “Innovation in an Era of Uncertainty”. During his session, he mentioned that “The COVID-19 pandemic has forced numerous changes in the tourism industry, impacting everyone in the ecosystem. In order to support the government in recovering the national economy, Traveloka maintains collaborations with various stakeholders in the tourism industry based on the mutual cooperation principle. Traveloka also puts the innovations at the forefront to bring more positive impacts for everyone.”
The session was continued with Mr. Sjefke Jansen – the Chairman Jakarta Hotel Association as the second speaker. He was talking about “Hospitality Industry – Revive Post pandemic”. He explained on how the hotel industry was affected by the pandemic and how the industry stayed on its business on post pandemic. Third speaker was Mr. Tim Rudling as the Head of International Sales the Hotel School Sydney, He was delivering a presentation on “How to Boost Your Employability” and then continued with a Q & A session in which participants can actively participate in joining the discussion. The event was attended with over 200 participants across ASEAN countries. It was ended with a conclusion by the moderator and a group photo was also taken as a documentary.
