Jakarta – The COVID-19 pandemic was not an obstacle for London School Radio (LSR) to celebrate its 22nd anniversary. Exactly on 4 July, London School Radio held its 22nd Anniversary with entitled “Feelin’ 22 with London School Radio”. “Colorful” was the theme chosen by the event committee. It was as a hope that LSR can continue to color Londoners with the good work that they produce. By continuing to comply with the government PSBB regulations, this anniversary was held online through ZOOM. No doubt, it felt different. Previously, fingers could be reached, now they can only touch through the gadget’s screen. However, LSR has proven that this year’s birthday is no less exciting than the previous birthday celebration.

“Feelin’ 22 with London School Radio” began with remarks from President Aksara which was then continued by LSPR staff and management. Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR also did not miss to congratulate via video message. This event then continued with a question and answer session with Mr. Dana as the Station Manager. Although this event was held via online, but jokes, laughter and a sense of togetherness was properly packed.

The committee also prepared riddles, “Tebak – tebakan”, which were welcomed by the invited participants. One of them, was about terms found in London School Radio. The sense of longing for LSR activities deepened when the video compilation was played. This video contains greetings from LSPR staff and management, alumni, broadcasters and cabinet that was combined with videos of excitement and members’ togetherness before the pandemic struck.

LSPR staff, management, alumni and active broadcasters attended the “Feelin’ 22 with London School Radio”. Their participation was documented with virtual photoshoots conducted as the closing of the “Feelin’ 22 with London School Radio”. The number of participants was reached to 100. This was an admiration and a proof that for 22 years, LSR has been able to carry out its duties as a campus radio that always prioritises its quality.
