Jakarta – Tuesday, 9th May 2023, the LSPR Climate Change Champions Club (also known as 4C) opened the “From You to Earth” competition with remarks from several LSPR figures and speeches by the Chief Executive as well as the President of BEM LSPR. “From Earth to You” itself is a business idea competition with the theme of Sustainable Development Goals run by 4C, BEM LSPR, Kehati, and the Merdeka Campus.
After explaining the flow and conditions of the competition, the judges were introduced to the competitors. The event officially begins. The teams came forward one by one to introduce their business ideas. There were those who planned to make an application to recycle plastic (Susteenable, by SMA Fons Vitae.) There were those who proposed the concept of gasoline based on ketapang leaves (Catoline – SMA Marsudirini.) Various interesting ideas were shown in front of the judges.
In the late afternoon, the winners were finally announced. SMA Strada Bhakti Wiyata won third place, who came up with the idea to make scented candles with the Rosha brand as an alternative to recycling used oil. SMA Fons Vitae 1 won second place with the idea of making plastic recycling applications and services. SMA Ananda Bekasi won first place with the Eat Mie concept, glass noodles that are environmentally friendly both in ingredients and taste. For your participation, we thank you.
