Denpasar, Indonesia – May 28, 2020. LSPR Bali Student League with the name VAJRA hosted their last WEBINAR of the month with another sharing session. Using “The Importance of Understanding English’ VAJRA team would like to tell how proper English is needed in the business world to also show the public that LSPR is not only all about communication but also business.
Hosted by two LSPR Bali’s students, Angelica Hera Wulansari and Afifah Zakiyyah. They shared their experience in learning and trying to understand English while also telling the participants why we should understand English nowadays. This WEBINAR is held publicly, participants can join the WEBINAR through filling the form made by LSPR Bali Student League attached in their Instagram bio (@lspr_slbali) for free. Starting from 15.00-16.05 WITA there are 78 participants joining the WEBINAR that is held on Google Meet due to the social distancing rules. All participants were seen to ask a lot of questions and engage in the topic today. All participants who joined in would be rewarded with E-certificate and NAP for LSPR Students.
“As a generation who lived in a fast-paced generation, whether they liked it or not we have to understand English, professionally” said Angelica as one of our speaker today, explaining how a proper English is needed in the business world as she also explained about mistakes that are commonly made in making a professional email. Afifah also managed to give tips on how to improve their English skill to be better and how learning a language took a lot of courage.
By sharing their experiences, Angelica and Afifah show how proper English is needed nowadays especially when we wanted to work in a global business. By knowing the right words to write and say, and how to be seen as a professional even from an email to add value to ourselves. The WEBINAR itself closed with questions from the participants about how to improve their English skills and filling an exit ticket so participants can get their E-certificates as soon as possible.
