Jakarta – LSPR Film, Television, & Videography Club is back with the LSPR Film Festival. This competition presented by LSPR FTVC is a short film competition that students from JABODETABEK and also film communities in Indonesia can participate in with the theme “Kreasi Sinema Generasi Muda”. Registration for the short film competition, which opened on April 5 2023, has succeeded in gathering more than 80 film titles made by film communities from nine provinces and 20 cities in Indonesia.

The awarding of the award from the short film competition event held on June 24 2023 by LSPR FTVC was attended by representatives of the makers of 15 film titles selected as the best short film at this event. The event was opened by Lunetta Salmanisa the head of the LSPR FTVC club, then continued by David Simeon the head of the LSPR BEM, and the final opening was opened by Mr. Teguh Akbari, Ph.D. as vice rector 3 for student development. The order of the award ceremony was filled by LSPR Dance and also the screening of short films made by 15 directors whose films were selected as the best short films.

At the core of this award ceremony, the LSPR Film, Television, & Videography Club as the organizer of the competition this time has seven categories of winners, namely, the best actor category, the best actress category, the best editor category, the best scriptwriter category, the best director category, the best documentary film category, and the last is the best fiction film category. The seven film nominations previously mentioned were won by:

1. The best actor category was won by Helmi Prasetyo from the title “Waiting for Your Phone
Call”;
2. The best actress category was won by Bethari Salsya from the title “Aral Melintang”;
3. Mario Trinaga won the best editor category from the title “Kodami”;
4. The best script writer category was won by Erven Jovanka for the title “Aral Melintang”;
5. the best director category won by M. Iqbal Mustaqiem from the title “Aral Melintang”;
6. The best documentary film category won by a short film entitled “Bebenjangan”; and
7. The best fiction film category was won by a short film entitled “Kodami”.

The awards for the winners from the seven nominations were handed over by the Head of the FTVC LSPR Club and also the Head of the LSPR BEM as the organizer of this competition. The award ceremony was closed with a documentation session in the form of a group photo between all organizers and representatives of filmmakers from the 15 best short film titles.
