Jakarta – LPPM LSPR-Jakarta once again held a webinar, this time the webinar that carried the theme of the business and entrepreneurial situation amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The webinar was held on Friday, June 13, 2020 through google meet. This webinar is open to the public where LSPR as a communication and business institution wants to contribute in the form of new knowledge to the community. This webinar invites Dr. dr. Bayu Prawira Hie, who is a digital transformation strategy consultant who has been active for 23 years. In this webinar, Dr. Bayu explained the Covid-19 pandemic and then provided information on what types of businesses could be run during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said that the pandemic is changing the way people use the funds they have, thus making people very careful and detailed in using their money. He also said that many people would learn “stingy” because of the current unstable economic conditions. Dr. Bayu also explained that in this pandemic condition it affects many sectors, but sectors such as health, food, do it yourself, delivery and digital will not have as large an impact as other sectors. Besides Dr. Bayu, also present in this webinar, Mrs. Yuliana Prasetyawati, MM, is the chair of the management study program at the LSPR Communication and Business Institute. The topic presented by Dr. Bayu is complemented by Ms. Yuliana, who is familiarly called Mrs. Ana, who delivered her “smart & survive for business during a pandemic”.

He conveyed the shifting platform for business during a pandemic in 10 points, namely: leapfrogging to digital, customer loyalty, collaboration, sales promotion, cause related marketing, innovation / new product development, how to manage cash flow, prioritizing health protocol, market research / insights and how to make a content marketing that focuses on story & engagement. At the end of the event, there is time for questions and answers with the participants present, it can be said from the questions that arise that many people are very careful in choosing the right business to do during this pandemic, especially with the conditions where people hold back not to make purchases which is not classified as primary needs.
