Jakarta – LSPR along with Canva Indonesia held a webinar themed “How to Create Easy Instagram Posts that Sell”. The webinar was held on Friday, November 13th, 2020 at 13.00 to 14.00 WIB through Zoom platform. Intan Goyana, SEO Specialist at Canva Indonesia attended this webinar as a speaker, whilst Mr. Endang Purnomo, Social Media Manager at LSPR Communication and Business Institute acted as the host.
This webinar aimed to discuss how to create a simple, yet attractive Instagram Post design using Canva’s template, image, and illustration features. The webinar session began with an introduction to Canva and the features it offered. Following that, when entering the topic of this webinar, Intan Goyana explained several tips to make Instagram Posts that were easy to do, such as using clear product photos, design continuity, the maturity of design concepts, the use of animations and videos to make the designs looked full of life, and creating useful content, as well as relevant to the audience.
After sharing the tips, a video tutorial on how to make an easy design with the features available in Canva was shown. While demonstrating the tutorial, she also explained about how much templates were available on Canva to create a post or promotional material according to a business’s focus and image. The templates vary widely, with exceptional themes starting from culinary and kitchen utensils to skincare, fashion, gadgets, children’s clothes, and so on. Canva also provided various template formats such as Story posts (Instagram Story, Facebook Story, and WA Status), sticker packaging, gift vouchers, and many more. All of these templates can of course be modified as pleased. These tips, features, and templates were given to create one’s design to be more eye-catching and attractive.
Ms. Intan Goyana said that she didn’t attend a formal education in design, but rather, she self-taught herself how to design.
“Hopefully you can be more sure that designing with Canva is very easy. I myself also don’t have formal education for design, everything is self-taught,” said Ms. Intan. It could be proven that designing with Canva was a very easy thing to do.
At the end of the webinar session, she also gave encouragement to the audience by saying, “When you’re designing, just have fun with it and enjoy it, because beauty is a pleasure in itself.”
