STIKOM The London School of Public Relations Jakarta is collaborating with an international assessor agency, Pearson LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) in conducting an international examination at LSPR.
Pearson LCCI qualifications are work-related qualifications, created to give professional learners the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the workplace. Offering a broad range of subject areas across English language, financial and quantitative, marketing and customer service as well as business administration and IT. LCCI qualifications equip learners with work ready skills to prosper in their careers. This is one of the advantages of taking a study at LSPR with the benefit of getting an international examination opportunity for a career portfolio in the future.
On October 6, 2017, two LSPR delegates; Ms. Ghina Amani Kemal Gani and Ms. Kartini Dwi Sartika, were visiting Pearson’s office which is the base-office of LCCI and located at 80 Strand London. The location of the address is one of London’s landmarks, which is Shell Mex House. Pearson’s office is housed in the Shell Mex House, an old building that was built in 1930. Because it is a London’s Heritage, there are several security procedures that hamper the documentation activities. The visit aims to find out how the assessment process which carried out by the LCCI in processing the data from LSPR about the international examination. LSPR cooperates with LCCI in Public Relations and Marketing subject.
Two LSPR delegates were welcomed by Ms. Charlotte, who also gave a presentation about the overview of how LCCI works. There are a number of series in the assessment process, even some stages such as marking and awarding are not done in this office but in other branch offices of Pearson. There is so many steps that have to be passed in the assessment series, which showing considerable accuracy and standardization for LCCI qualifications in assessing.
